Valentino Rossi confirmed to undergo shoulder surgery after the last MotoGP of the 2010 season in Valencia on November 7, 2010. The plan comes a day after the operation is allowed Yamaha's Rossi to test with his new team, Ducati.
Yes, starting the 2011 season Rossi was no longer riding a Yamaha. But a new rider for Ducati, the team that came from Rossi's native country, Italy.
"My shoulder was examined in Italy and the same as before, I'll finish this season," Rossi said as quoted by Crash the Net, Friday, October 29, 2010.
