Mercedes-Benz Germany Pictures

Mercedes-Benz Germany Pictures
What is most fascinating about the Mercedes-Benz, in my opinion, is that its primary founder was in fact the inventor of the first gasoline-powered automobile. Karl Benz created the first commercial automobile, the Motorwagen, in 1885. It had three wheels, with steering controlled by the front wheel; the two back wheels supported the vehicle’s passengers as well as the engine. Benz continued his crusade of automobile inventions; he created what we know as an accelerator, the gear shift, the water radiator, and the carburetor. The first Mercedes-Benz brand name vehicle emerged from a collaboration between Benz, Gottlieb Daimler, and Wilhelm Maybach, in 1926.

With such a history of innovation, is it any wonder that the Mercedes-Benz name remains synonymous with cutting-edge design? It has done the unthinkable and combined safety with the image of risk-taking. Driving a Mercedes is a status symbol, and is regarded as a luxurious choice. Mercedes-Benz is a part of several professional racing circuits, and the car is well known for its swift acceleration and fast top speeds. However, it is also well-known for its superb performance in crash tests; arguably, you are safer in a Mercedes-Benz than in any other luxury vehicle.

That combination is exactly why a Mercedes-Benz is the absolute perfect exotic car rental for a road trip across America. Maybe in today’s economy, a trip to Germany is out of your reach, especially a family trip – but a road trip experiencing the luxury of German engineering isn’t out of your grasp! Park it right next to a vacation rental in Warwick, New York, or some other upper-crust area – you can fit right into the dream, which is what you’re supposed to do on vacation!
